Normal settings for mail clients within Creative Computing:

(These settings are also suitable for clients on the Creative Computing VPN)

Incoming Mail		Outgoing Mail
POP3 Server:	sam.crecom.com.au	SMTP Server:	sam.crecom.com.au
POP3 Port:	110	SMTP Port:	25

Note 1: Always use names, because sam has to resolve to a different IP address when accessed from the VPN.
Note 2: If a client was previously configured to access robin or 192.168.1.5 AND is set to leave mail on server, you will need to clear the mailbox on the server (in /var/spool/mail/username) before changing settings, otherwise outlook will re-download all mail.

For mail clients outside Creative Computing office but not on VPN:

(Currently only Brian in Melbourne)

Incoming Mail		Outgoing Mail
POP3 Server:	crecom.com.au	SMTP Server:	crecom.com.au
POP3 Port:	3143	SMTP Port:	25

Note: Brian's IP address is explicitly allowed for forwarding in /etc/mail/access on sam, and whitelisted for greylisting in /etc/mail/greylist.conf on sam.
