  • Note 1: Always use names, because sam has to resolve to a different IP address when accessed from the VPN.

  • Note 2: If a client was previously configured to access robin or 192.168.1.5 AND is set to leave mail on server, you will need to clear the mailbox on the server (in /var/spool/mail/username) before changing settings, otherwise outlook will re-download all mail.

For mail clients outside Creative Computing office but not on VPN:
