SSL Eftpos
Pinpad is connected to a PC. PC has PC-Eftpos drivers installed. PC also has EFT Server installed.
Drivers talks to EFT Server. Server talks to PC-EFTPOS.
If you have multiple pinpads, you will need to make sure that the drivers on the other terminals use the first terminal as its EFT Server.
In essence, it is an alternative to the use of Argent lines or dialup lines.

Note: The SSL tunnel is only used between the store's EFT Server and PC-EFTPOS's office.
Requirements
- Customer needs to setup an account with PC-EFTPOS.
- They will also need a version of the EFT Server installer that allows for SSL.
- A merchant account with a bank of the customer's choice.
- An active internet line.
Cost
From Creative's point of view, there is no extra cost or modifications that need to occur. However, PC-EFTPOS will charge the customer a fee for every transaction. I believe that this is on top of the usual bank fees.
