Configure Thin client Machine

1. Unpack keyboard / mouse etc and thin-client box

2. Attached keyboard / mouse /cat 5 & video cable to thin client set

3. As soon as thin-client boots, it shows setup screen
4. WBT wizard setup will come up.
5. Click next without changing anything
6. Click next again without no change in display
7. Select English or UK for your locale and next

8. Network settings >> click network properties

9. Check Default enable
10. Click specify IP address / Subnet / Gateway
11. Put subnet mask and gateway

12. Click OK >>

13. Click Next >>

14. Click Finish >>

15. Click OK to terminal restart

16. After restart, Click start >> Connect Manager >> Add new connection

    1. Select X11 Client
    2. Under XDMCP window. Connection Name: control, XDM Modem: Query, Server Name IP: 192.168.1.85

    3. Click Ok >> and Close to Finish

17. Click Start >> Connection >> Control

18. Login using username / password. If this works then control works.
19. Create OK for create new terminal
20. Cltr + Alt + Backspace – to back to thin client window

Configuring Font Server setting

1. Start >> Control Panel >> Font Server Setting >> add

   • Font server IP: 192.168.1.85
   • Font server Port: 7100

2. OK >> Exit

3. Go back & test control again if there is still font problem
