| = How to use Guacamole to transfer files. = First make sure you are already logged into Guacamole == To upload files == Just drag it into the Guacamole window. These files automatically go into your "home" directory and any import programs from within Control should "see" it when you press the "select file" button. Note that the file system is case sensitive, if you can't find a particular file, make sure you didn't accidentally send it with the extension in all caps. (newstock.csv is NOT the same as NEWSTOCK.CSV). == To download files == Press the left Ctrl, Alt and Shift keys. You will see an image of a hard drive somewhere on the little window that comes in from the left. Traverse the drive and click on the file you want to download. Your browser should pick it up and save it to your local hard disk (usually in the "Downloads" directory). To hide away the window, press the left Ctrl, Alt and Shift keys again. |
