Steps to setup ebay to intergrad to control

first part set up ebay and paypal.

1. get a ebay developer account and create keysets

   1. go to https://www.x.com/developers/ebay

   2. then join as a developer
   3. generation application key by following the email get send to you
   4. for testing create sandbox key
   5. for production create production key

   6. goto Application setting tab

   7. chick customize the ebay user consent form
   8. click generate run name then save setting
2. create a testing ebay user

   1. goto https://www.sandbox.ebay.com.au/

   2. register a user in ebay sandbox
   3. need to set up a testing paypal account for that user

   4. signup as paypal developer goto https://developer.paypal.com/

   5. click sign up now
   6. then login to paypal developer site and create test account
   7. go back to your ebay sandbox account
   8. go to account tab and choose paypal account
   9. chick link my paypal account
   10. link against the test accounted generated in paypal
   11. make a random listing ,so that can set up store for seller

   12. goto [http://sandbox.ebay.com/ http://stores.sandbox.ebay.com/]

   13. click the open a ebay store.

   14. enter with your ebay sandbox seller account.

   15. now go back to your ebay account ,the manage my store should be available in the bottom of the left hand column, under shourt cut tab

3. get a ebay token for the ebay users
   1. login to your ebay developers account

   2. go to Application setting tab

   3. select the environment and , key set

   4. click the User Tokens link just below the selet box

   5. click Generate Token buttom

   6. enter your seller ebay account then agreed
   7. save the generated token to a file

second part putting setting in control

1. run ebaycont
   1. set to use sandbox for testing

   2. copy all the ebay id from the application setting tab in ebay developer account

   3. copy the run name from the application setting tab ->consent form setting

2. set up location for ebay , each location can be mapped to one ebay account
   1. run braad
   2. goto online tab
   3. enter AU in ebay country all CAP

   4. enter 15 in ebay site ->this is the site your list will be on, it will determin the currency as well

   5. enter postcode this postcode is the postcode of the ebay's seller account, it tell ebay where is the item location ,
   6. copy the paypal account from your seller account
   7. input a url where your branch images was going to be mount to

   8. save the token file in /u/ccdev/COMP/ebaytoken/branchcode.token <--i think branch code need to be CAP, the token is the one link you to the user, note that we do not store in branch the user's ebay login.

3. not when you are in noosa you can access the ebay tab in staad

4. but before list anything , need to clear all ebay listing related numbers

   1. run sturep -> D ->F Clear qty, postage, price on ebay

Detail of Listing an item

1. (optional) if you want you item to appear on your ebay store

   1. login to ebay seller account ->manage my store->store categories->add categoay

   2. after adding a category , need to view its id by clicking the "All Categories" link
   3. put the category number into caaad , the category record of the default category of the listing item.
   4. when the item successfully listed it should appear on the corresponding category of the online store.
2. list the item
   1. conset to the location set up with ebay
   2. for a item goto the ebay tab
   3. if no suggested category , go back to change the description and try again
   4. click list item
   5. if all the detail is correct , will come back a confirm prompt
   6. click ok with the confirm prompt
   7. ebay listing detail will then be updated

retreive ebay order from ebay

1. set up a cron job for impebayord
2. the first time it rum may fail , its ok , since its setting up the last updated time
3. the program will import any fully paied ebay order , from last updated time to now,
4. then the program will update the last updated time to now
5. the last updated time was stored in the branch but is not vissible yet.
