To start a new email message:

1. Log in to phplist using the above URL
2. Click on "send a message"
3. In the Content tab, type in the Subject and the body. From past experience, it is a very bad idea to paste something into here, specially from word. Put in plain unformatted text or type it straight into here and format it with the tools provided.
4. Click save
5. You can send a test email by entering your email address in the space provided.
6. In the Lists tab, you can select which lists to send it to.
7. When ready to send, click on "Send message to selected mailing lists"
8. Click on "process queue" to send everything out.

To add a new email list:

1. Log in to phplist using the above URL
2. Click on "lists"
3. Click on "add a list". Fill up list name and tick the box for making list active.
4. Click on save.
5. Click on "manage users"
6. Click on "import users"
7. Click on "import emails with different values for attributes"
8. Tick on the box that has the list you want to import to.
9. Click on "choose file" and browse through your local drive to find the csv containing users you want to import.
10. Change Field delimiter to a comma.
11. Tick on the box that says "make confirmed immediately"
12. Click on Import.
