Updating CCPDE program for Denso

The CCPDE program is a program that runs in BHT BASIC, the source file resides in the std/pde directory called ccpde.src.

There is a BHT BASIC compiler, (30 day trial period), located in the knowledge database hardware/pde/denso/bhtdev4t/BASIC/setup.exe. Need to remember to compile program as a BASIC 3.6 and to turn off option to causes errors for undefined variables. Other wise just refer to the manual – also located in the knowledge database. Once compiled this should create a ccpde.pd3 file.

To download the program onto the PDE Unit hold down SF, 1 and PW keys at the same time to get the System Menu.

You may need to setup the communication setting of the PDE unit first.

Important note:

Turn the unit over, if the serial number ends in 04xxx, you will encounter serveral problems. First of all, TSR-tu3a will not be able to send ANYTHING. This is because the last 5 digits of the serial number is used as the BHT-Ir ID. If it starts with 04, this has a special meaning to the communications (EOT) and it gets interpreted as such. If the unit has a serial number ending in 04xxx, go into 4:PROTOCOL TYPE -> 2:BHT-Ir Protocol and enter a different number, such as 14xxx. You will be able to proceed as normal.

To download the CCPDE program press 2:DOWNLOAD -> 1:FILE and then on the PC send the CCPDE.PD3 file using TSR-tu3a (located in knowledge database) transfer Utility (don’t forget to set the communication Parameters to 19200,N,8,1).

After the program is downloaded you could call 1:EXECUTE PROGRAM then CCPDE.PD3 or just turn the unit off and back on again will start the CCPDE program giving the following Menu.
