Zebra S4M
The Zebra S4M is a much bigger label printer than the TLP2824 and TLP2844.
It is should have a USB interface, a parallel port and a network port.
The default printer language that it ships with is ZPL (Zebra Printer Language). Control talks to Zebra printers via EPL (Eltron Printer Language). To make the printer understand EPL, you will need to change the firmware.
Changing Printer Firmware
- Download the firmware from the Zebra website

- If you connect the printer to a PC via parallel port, you should be able to just directly copy the firmware file to the port
- Use the printer as if it was TLP 2844
