1. How to tell if polling has stopped.
Check both sides of polling companies under <CCDIR>/<COMPANY>/<POLLING LOC>/send/
There should be only the last few zip file(s) generated since files were exchanged. You can confirm with the file in the above directory called "lastsend"
2. What to do if polling has stopped.
Before changing anything, make sure you have run "umask 0". This ensures all your files are world writable and eliminates permissions as a possible cause.
First thing to do is to check if you have ran out of disk space. This is the number 1 reason polling would stop if there was no human intervention.
The next thing to do , is to run comaad (on both sides) and set the polling state back to 0. 99% of the time this will fix the issue.
3. How to resend a zip file.
If a zip file needs to be re-sent (incomplete zip file), the polling will be stopped. In this case you can do procedure 2 above (set the polling state back to 0) and polling should re-send the file automatically. If this still fails, go to the receive side, delete the corrupt file (both from receive and receive/back), set polling state (on both sides) back to 0 and try again.
