How to set up a new store

Whole company runs on one server (Linux)

To set up a new store, use braad and add a new location using another store as template. If this is a first store, use brctrl so that you can add the correct license.

Set the sequence numbers on page 6 depending on discussions made with the customer. If they want a common range for all stores (non duplicating), set the value on page 5 for "use transaction sequence numbers from this alternate branch" to the same as the first store (if this is the first store, leave it blank). This is an example:

If they want each store to have its own range, leave the option on page 5 to blank and set up the sequence numbers on page 6. We normally use this option so that each location has its own range and that the ranges do not overlap. However if you do use this option and set the ranges such that they overlap then the numbers will be used in more than one store.
